    Default Place mats I made for us

    I liked these prints so just cut them whole, no piecing. The brown edging is Mitered and the red edging is just folded over since I cut it too small. But still, I like them enough to keep them and use them daily.

    Very nice. Things won't be tempted to fall over so easy with them being smoother than pieced ones.

    I used Pellon fusible fleece. thermolam. Does it need any quilting? I don't think so but wasn't sure. The Church bazaar was selling some without any quilting in the main section of fabric.

    I agree with you that sometimes a fabric is so beautiful it just has to stand alone. And sometimes less is more. All that said.....I love your place mats.
