    They are beautiful! You are right that a quilt would have been easier, but I'm thinkin' the placemats will get more use! they can be used winter and summer too!

    I love how they are variants on a theme. Same color sets, but not all alike. Your quilting is impressive.

    I did some placemats for a wedding. Lots of $, lots of work... like you said.
