    Default Plaid Quilt Progress pix

It's called Plaid Obsession and it's an Evelyn Sloppy pattern. It's in her book Strips and Strings and also available as a download from Martingale.
I got the pattern so I wouldn't have to figure everything out, then changed it by adding another column, thereby making myself have to figure out all the new numbers of pieces I need. I'm my own worst enemy, I swear.
Anyway, I have the first row done. Only had to rip & resew 2 blocks because I forgot to rotate them.

I hope these are ok, it's hard to tell on my phone.

Strings of various plaids? Great idea! Did you sew to foundation fabric or paper??

I would say that is the beginning of a great quilt. I really like the impact of the string foundation piecing. Keep up the great work and don't forget to show us your progress and finished quilt.

I'm not a fan of plaids other than wearing them but I like how you used the white between the blocks. Really sets them off. Will be interested in your finished quilt. Nice work.
