    Default Plantation Road is finished

I love the way this quilt turned out. It’s from a book called Tributes and Treasures by Paula Barnes and Mary Ellen Robison. I looked a long time to find a toile fabric that I liked, and it worked with the fabric I already had. When I was looking for backing at the fabric warehouse near me, I found more of the border fabric that I’d had for months. Lucky me.

What a beautiful quilt! When may I pick it up? 😉 The toile is perfect! This reminds me of some lineage scrolls I made for members of my family where I printed ships for the headers. Finding that border fabric was amazingly lucky!

That is a stunning quilt...I love the simplicity making the main feature the toile fabric. Really beautiful.
