I am getting ready to move, presumably in about a week. About a week ago, I was asked to make a fundraiser quilt by the local Little League. My jaw dropped too far for me to even reply, since the person asking knew that I was moving. The next day, as i was sorting though my sewing room, I found that I had already started making a baseball theme pinwheel. Then I came across the leftover braid from a much earlier project. A neighbor was willing to quilt it, so I went ahead with this lap/crib quilt. I like the fact that locals feel they can count on me, even if I feel a bit like a sucker right now. It was much quicker than my usual quilts, but it is done.

Thanks. I just hope they are able to sell tickets on the raffle. I think it will make a good 'drag around' quilt for someone.

Funny thing is, the quilt looks intentional-Not last minute.

alikat110, Thanks. I intended to make that pinwheel at some time for a give away quilt. The rest sorta happened.
