I was cleaning my kitchen the other day...not dishes...but the deep cleaning that a kitchen needs about once a month and decided I wanted a curtain for the back door. I didn't want anything to block the sunshine as I love lots of bright sunshine so I made a valance using scraps from the quilt I'm working on now and muslin from my stash. It was hard to get pictures because with the sun shining in my camera kept making the picture darker! But, I believe you can still get an idea of what it looks like and the block details.
