Ladies,
I love all of your quilts and thread catcher. Now I am more confused. I thought I knew what I was going to make with my fabrics, now that I have seen what you all have done, I am having a hard time deciding on what I am going to do with my black and white fabrics. Decisions, decisions, decisions.
I vowed to stay out of fabric stores this year, I need to use MY stash. Well, we were near a quilt store, so asked my husband if he wanted to drive me there. I was just looking. Bought 2 red fat quarters and a black & white fat quarter. That was only 3/4 of a yard. So far so good.
Then I saw a pattern that I already had and thought that would be a good pattern for a baby quilt. So 6 1/2 yards of more fabric, I finally left the store.
So so far this year, I have only bought 7 1/4 yards of fabric!!!!
I wish I could shows you my quilts & new purchase, but I am not camera ready!!!

This one was made following directions from a Yvonne Porcella book. It was made for a high school graduate and I called it 'Good and Plenty.' The young lady's room was decorated in black and white with touches of hot pink.
