Default Plus Quilt 2.5" Squares, Bright Colors

I initially was going to do this quilt with mini-charm packs, but that was really too expensive and too repetitive, so I started using up pieces in my scrap bag to make this. I think I may have only repeated 2 or 3 fabrics. You don't need a pattern, you just need a design wall. But those of you who like to use patterns can look up "Charming Addition" from BH&G Dec 2012, issue 119. Fons and Porter has a kit for a similar one, and Jenny Doan has a 5" charm pack one.

I love this quilt. It's so bright and cheery. What a way to use up the scraps. (I so want to play in your scrap bin. Such pretty colors and prints.

I helped out a woman in my quilt group by going thru my stash and getting 26 sets of 5 of 2.5" so she could have enough for hers. I think I may have enough for one of my own. Great job on the quilt!
