Wonderful quilt - love Edgar and reading so this quilt is just made for a library corner!

Though I must admit I cringed a little when I read "an old quilt from 1960" - that doesn't seem "old" to me - oh, well.

The title of your post caught my attention and I'm glad I looked. The quilt is great and how nice to have a lightweight cover in that climate.

all my tied quilts I tie about every 4-6 inches just to be sure the batting doesn't bunch when washed. that's just IMHO

Love this quilt! The Raven is one of my favorite poems, and this is just so right!

I love your quilt. My stepson is a huge Poe fan and I would love to make one like yours for him. what did you use to tie it with? Would crochet yarn work? I think I also have on hand embroidery thread, that might be stronger and look better. What do you think?
