Very pretty, I'm glad you took it home. Better to be put up for sale than to languish it a box or closet, never to be used. Your Daughter has a good heart and so do you.

Your DD sounds like she has a tender heart. That is so sweet. I'm glad that you took it home with you. :XD:

I remember going to a garage sale and seeing a simple Christmas Wall Hanging. Like yours, it was uncomplicated and mostly just green and red blocks. You can imagine my shock  when the garage sale lady said, "Oh, my MIL made that for us....." Like you, I bought it and gave it a good home.
isn't that sad? I hope she didn't see it at their garage sale. Like it had no value because it was the inlaws who made it. I hope that didn't hurt her husbands feelings :( If someone ever made something for me I would display it proud!

And yes she does have great empathy! I think maybe because she has seen how long it takes mommy to make her a quilt she can picture someone sitting there making that only for it to end up in a thrift store :(

She has a good idea. Sounds like she knows the true meaning of haveing a quilt. It looks like a pattern called Stairway to Heaven.
