    You did a wonderful job. I always seen quilts like this buy would never try it. I may have the skills but looks to scary to try. I my get an alien. I love your work hope you make more to show us.

    Try it with a pet photo first. The human brain is more "forgiving" with things being a bit "off" with animals than we are with people. Once you can do a pet portrait, you'll get the confidence to try people :-D

    What a beautiful work of art that is. My mum passed away last January and I have such a wonderful photo of her, but I don't think my sewing skills will ever be up to transferring it to a wall hanging.
