    The size of those pot holders is 7 3/4 inches.
    I like to use an old cotton terry towel or an old woollen skirt in the middle. Natural batting protect well from the hot.

    I enjoy your use of the selvages very much, roolen. The fruit ones are my favorite. I am glad you shared these with us, it is a good idea to use up those scraps.
