I just bought about 5 yards of that tree fabric. I got it for $1.11 a yard at WM. I just love it.Maybe I could try something like your block, which is just beautiful I might add!
I am coming to live in your State. LOL I purchased that fabric here for $18.00 a meter!!!! One of the reasons to shop on line I guess. It is VIP for Cranston.

I use to live in Cheboygan MI which is only an hour from Canada. My hubby graduated college from Suite Ste Marie Mi. He seen Canada out side the window and the bridge to get there. We went there many times. I didn't realize fabric was so expensive there. we use to go to a store right over the boarder to buy our kinds a candy egg called KINDER EGGS. Made in Germany where we spent 9 years while we were in the Military. Have you every seen them? They are hallow with a tiny toy in side. How far do you live from there? Oh and you are welcome to move here to SC any times. Take care!!

You did a wonderful job. I just did my first paper piecing last night, and it it nothing as ambitious as yours, but I am OK with it. It is my goofy name tag for the quilt show in Silverton, OR on Saturday
