    Just quilted this figured I would do feathers what do you think??

    Looks good to me, at least you are brave enough to try them. I have done practicing on paper like some had said just to get your hands used to the movement. Then once in a while I'll take 10 to 12 inch squares of fabric, sandwich them and do some practicing on the sewing machine. I can tell you I definitely still need a lot of practice before I do anything on a quilt.

    I like yours, you did a pretty good job
