    I'm not "there" yet but I have great respect for anyone who can do any kind of free motion quilting. They look just beautiful to me!

    I am also trying feathers for the first time!!! I don't dare do them free hand just yet, but last night used a stencil and marked feathers onto some wash away stabilizer then pinned it to my border, stiched the feather using the stabilizer as my marking and hope that when I'm done I can just wash away the stabilizer. Say a prayer for me!

    Thank you very much! Even though they aren't perfect I'm really excited that I gave it a try. I like the way it looks all together because you don't really notice the mistakes unless you look close...yay!

    You are so brave. I did my practice feathers in very fussy fabrics so they wouldn't show. But your look great. Congrats on your feathers. They are my favorite thing to do and to see. They just make me happy.
