I bought a used Juki & frame a few weeks ago. At first I practiced on some ugly fabric and then I had out of town company, and so, I didn't practice at all for a couple weeks. They're gone now & I decided to step up from practicing on fabric. I bought a nursery panel & some backing fabric that was on sale at Hobby Lobby & in no time I had done a FMQ meandering stipple...fun! There is only about a 4" - 5" work area on the quilt with the Juki when it's on the frame. I need to figure out how to do something besides a meandering line. I did make a cat pantograph to do on some fabric from the quilt cad software that came with it & that worked out great, but I need more practice to stay on the lines before I put it on a quilt. But, you could tell that it was a cat! This is so much fun & I'm already planning to get a larger machine in a couple of years.

congrats on your new setup and your quilting. looks great. i have a juki on a frame, too, and recently did a king quilt with 12" blocks. there was a LOT of rolling of the quilt to hit all the areas LOL
