    They came out wonderfully. I would never of guessed you haven't been doing them that long! Beautiful job.

    Oh my what a kind compliment! Thank you - and thank you everyone!! You know what was the biggest help? DOODLING! I've been doing a lot of drawing...in the evenings while the Husband and I sit down to watch tv I've just been doodling feathers during commercial breaks. Trying not to lift my pen, creating continuous line drawings so I could emulate those drawings when I go to quilt. It has helped immensely!

    Another thing that has really helped - I've been studying feathers that make me drool. The ones that swirl and twirl and have little characteristics that draw me in - I try to draw those first, then make them my own.

    I'm getting there! Thank you all for your kind words (and the tutorial!!) they mean so much!
