    Very pretty!! I've not seen this pattern before, it's lovely - as is your execution!!

    I would outline the applique then do a small fill in the white areas - stipple, pebble, mctavish ... or even a mix of all of them in different blocks. I would also outline the sashing and the corner blocks. Perhaps a vine in the sashing.

    I agree with Tartan....quilt it in a way that makes your beautiful work standout. Stippling in the white background would work well.
