Default Prairie Star center is almost done!

Finished the last 4 corner pieces for the center tonight. Three of the 2 points + 1 corner are sewn together, one more to do, then sew them all together to add the other 4 corners.

Overall, have 8 more border pieces to make and that's it!

It was a lot easier than I thought it would be. I started sewing on March 17th (spent 9 hours over that weekend cutting ALL the pieces). I maybe worked on it a few evenings per week and on the weekend if I felt like it. It wasn't hard to do at all, so far.

That is just an amazing quilt. Your choice of fabrics is perfect. Is it all paper pieced?

Yes, it's all paper pieced. I take the paper off of the curves before sewing them. I left them only on the outside rows of the points so that I could make sure I was lining them up correctly when sewing the points together.
