    What a beautiful find! How wonderful it was "you" to find this treasure and how heartwarming it is to place your hands on sewn blocks where there was once a quilter as well. Loved your story and look forward to seeing the quilts finsihed. Happy New Year to you and may all its blessings come your way!

    Better a thrift store where someone like you could find them then in the trash! I agree I hope my UFO's get the love you are giving these, don't you know she would be so pleased!

    Ok you are going to think I am crazy. BUT when I read your post I got a vision of a Lady looking down on you and the name Berta came to me. I know you said you know her name so I don't know where this came from, Just thought it was funny. But whoever she is I know she is so happy you found them.
