    Hi Carol,
    She used dry sawdust to stuff the pincushions. It makes a great, firm stuffing, adds some weight so it doesn't tip over, and really holds the pins in well.

    Oh geez, I am alergic to sawdust but have used a small rock in the middle of my stuffing for weight. Works for me!!
