    Yes I did know, I hope he doesnt mind my interpretation of the design. I just felt like doing a little more and making it all my own, different from all others.

    I am learning a lot while stitching this out, definitely going to do another one and echo the designs and stitch in different colors. Will use a wool batting on that one and make it my winter quilt perhaps next christmas' project!

    I was taught hand quilting by Barbara Chainey and have had classes with others here in the UK. and I did exactly the same technique on a wedding quilt where I put diagons around a cartouche for the centre of quilt.
