    How about making a pillowcase to match and put the quilt inside and either use buttons to close or then wrap ribbon around everything.

    I always tie my with pretty ribbons...I like the wide ribbons..It makes such a pretty bow..

    I just made some simple tie lap quilts to give as wedding gifts to some in our church, and i made a fabric shopping bag and put the quilt in that, so two gifts in one.

    I like to make a "Bag" out of net and then put the bow on it.
    This is especially nice for a baby quilt.
