Absolutely stunning work. The workmanship is perfect and the quilting is fabulous. Well done, I know your Grand-daughter will love that. She will be showing everyone you wait and see!

I love it! It is such a cute and cheerful quilt. I, too, like how the grassy sides hang down.

I really enjoyed making it. I've been posting on my blog once a week for the past 6 weeks and it's really helped me get it done. Whew, it's done... YIPPEE.... Now I can get on with decorating and cooking...

Anyway, I know some will want to know...This is a pattern from "Don't Look Now" and it's called Rainbow Lollipops. I worked on it in a "Quilt-as-You-Go" method. I divided it into 5 sections, and after adding the fused lollipops and flowers etc, I machine quilted each of the 5 sections separately on my domestic sewing machine. Then I joined the sections with connecting strips and bound my machine... The side borders with the grass will hang down on the sides of my little granddaughter's single bed and I think they are the most fun feature of this quilt.... Don't you?

No words to express the joy she will feel! Especially when she gets older and can really appreciate all the work you put into it.
