    Default Pretty lap-quilt finished!

I also posted this in the UFO Challenge, because I took a long time to get it bound...I hate binding, it's boring LOL! It is just for me. Most of my quilts are giveaways, so I'm trying to keep a few this year. The purples are a bit darker than the pictures show.

I love hydrangeas! Did you know that the soil conditions determine color of your hydrangea? At least that's what I was told eons ago and I took it to be true. Your beautiful quilt is soft, and feminine and I love the way you sashed your blocks. Thanks for sharing.

It's true about the soil - mine are blue from the acid in the soil here - the ones I have planted in containers (from the same plant) are pink.

Lovely and your quilting is wonderful - I am one of those souls that finds sewing the bonding by hand relaxing lol!!!!

My Grandmother used to throw all her coffee grounds under the hydrangeas. She had some really georgeous ones.
By the way, your quilt is so beautiful don't blame you for keeping this one for yourself...
