    is your binding the backing brought forward & if not, how did you make it? just stitches? nice touch to a lovely flower!

    Just a 2 1/2 inch binding of striped fabric.

    Wow! You would think a dramatic setting like that would take away from the poppies, but it just makes it all the more powerful.
