    Where is that tutorial? I'm used to making them with drawing the diagonal line, sewing 1/4" either side and cutting them apart. There is a way to do it with the tube but that leaves bias on the edges. Does anyone have experience with doing it that way and is there a problem with the bias?

    Wow. I am a newbie -- and have learned something awesome!! I am gonna invest in graph paper, start thinking and designing, and then gather my fabrics. Looks so simple, so straight forward -- too bad I didn't think of it!!! Happy cutting, piecing, and all!!! :lol:

    Beautiful little girl and she's starting out right, with quilts! Sweet, bright and perky one to snuggle under on cold days or nights. Great job!
