She was wrong, it wouldn't look as good tied. I like tied quilts, but this one looks so much better hand quilted! Lovely. I like the greens, they look so fresh.

Kaye.....the pattern came from a book by Kim Schaefer named "Flower Festival....50 Applique Blocks to Grow Your Garden" My project was on page 54....Pinwheel Table Runner. I substtiuted the flower applique for one of my chosing and changed the colors from red/white to green/yellow to better match my Moms color scheme in her kitchen.
