I love your table runner! If she were my sister...I'd just push her down and forget about whatever she was saying. I was just thinking today about making something along those lines for my table...can I just have yours? Please??? :D

Thank you to everyone for the encouragement and compliments! If my feelings were hurt by my SIL, everyone here has made my day!!! :) :) :) I really think she was just trying to be helpful (because I am new to quilting) but did she really think I didn't understand the concept of tying a quilt??? I think that's what bothered me the most, it's like telling me about the new invention, the sewing machine. Geesh.....I know!
And to everyone who likes my view and my dogs......Come on over for a visit anytime!!! The door is always open!

I really see that being tied. Your quilting is lovely.

You did a beautiful job!! I wish my hands would let me hand quilt but I've been too hard on them over the years & so I have to machine quilt. I am in awe of people who can do such fine hand quilting!!! Great work!!

You have a lovely table runner! I am positive that your mom will cherish it forever! Sisters and sister-in-laws can be pills!

With the detail you included in this beautiful quilt, I can't imagin finishing it by tying off, especially when you have such a fine hand stitch.

I love the way you quilted the top. Great job. I also like to tie some of my quilts especially if I use a thick batt. Mix it up and have fun.
