I think the it's beautiful. I could never have the patience or skill to do hand quilting and envy those who can. Your mom will love it. Great job.

I love the way the runner looks. I'm not a hand quilter but I love to see work that is done and the stitches so neat and straight.GREAT WORK

Sorry your sister in law hurt your feelings. I am a hand quilter also and often have had people tell me that I would get done quicker if I machine quilted. I machine piece the tops but I always hand quilt. I try to explain that it is not about getting done quick but they don't seem to understand. Stand your ground. By the way----IT IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!
