    Default Pride and Jealousy

It is a very strange sensation to be so proud of my child for the awesome job he is doing on his quilt, and at the same time, being soooo jealous of him because his points are SO much nicer than mine !

This is not the first time his perfect points have made me jealous either . The quilt he made last fall is 98% perfect points too ! Last falls quilt was HST, and this is his FIRST time EVER making geese. He is some sort of quilting prodigy or something !

Here are some of his completed strip sets , awaiting the rest of their colors so he can begin putting it all together.

Here he is busy at the machine, now that I have got up from it myself, he was waiting patiently all day for machine time !

I have a feeling he is going to do very well in the fair this year ! This will be his first time entering a quilt at the fair and he is being VERY precise and wanting to make sure he has it done in time. I told him he has lots of time, it does not need to be finished till August !

I would so proud of him. His strength is his points, what is your strength? Is it in teaching him to sew? If so, you did a remarkable job!

What an amazing kid. His work is beautiful. Wish I could afford to buy him his very own sewing machine.

Amazing. His points are better then mine also. I love the colors he's working with. You might have to think about getting a second machine for him.

Keep us posted on how his entry at the fair does. Good Luck.
