    I got this quilt kit in a stash sale. I figured I'd get it done. I'm not overly thrilled with it. The directions were lacking and the borders got put on, but not in the right order:< I also had to piece several of the borders as they sure didn't give much extra in the kit. Plus, it was a big PAIN to cut out and work with because the patterns of the fabric didn't want to line up at all. It's a lap quilt size and it's a flannel fabric that resembles rug hooking. I really don't feel like echo quilting it all over as the rug lines would probably indicate. I think I'll put it away for a while :>

    It is very pretty. One day it will "speak" to you and you will be ready to finish it or pass it on.

    I think you did a great job. It looks very nice! Waiting a while sounds like the right thing to do.
