It is a special quilt! It deserves to shine somewhere, not in a box or cupboard! Lots to think about!

I would just cherish it. I made one like this totally by hand back in the 70's, with hand embroidery embellishment on every piece. I used it in my camper back in the day and generally did not take care of it. Eventually I lost sight of it, and now wish I still had it and had taken better care of it. I want to make another, but will never have the patience to do it by hand like this first one.

Just love it and show it in a safe place !!

80 years ago someone put a lot of time and energy into making that quilt. Someone nowadays will enjoy!!

Beautiful! I would display it on a quest bed, but without direct sunlight. I would be cautious hanging it. At that age the threads could be weak and the weight of hanging could break down the threads???? If you fold it and put it on the end of the bed, be sure to refold occasionally to keep the folds out of it. Repair the "dings" and enjoy it.

You love it

i vote for a local or state museum or historic society
especially if you have specific info on it historically...they are especially valuable & it would be a grand gesture on your part to share with generations to come... |
I agree with pollyv9!!!
