Kind of like a cathedral windows, right? I love yours!

I have usually seen this block done in Japanese fabric, possibly because of the origin of the design. However, you have put an entirely different look with your interpretation. It works very well and will be ideal for a baby's room.

What a great quilt! I've seen this done with denim as the "back" piece. This looks terrific.

Is this our famous 10-minute block as shown on this forum? What size were your squares?

Sorry, this is not the block from this forum - wasn't a member here until recently. I found the pattern in a magazine which I cannot re-find right now:+(
My finished circles, after turning right sides out, were just over 8 inches, and when 'windows' were folded in, the squares were 6 inches.

Each circle wasn't difficult, just tedious repeating it over & over - 48 circles x 3 layers each. I'm a fairly new quilter, and usually don't tackle tough projects.
I'm adding pictures of a single circle I had leftover- 3 layers: back, flannel middle, farm pattern top. I cut a paper plate for my template to get size I wanted. If you're interested, I can try to explain how each circle is sewn, turned right side out, then how to sew the circles together & quilt it. You may find an "I Spy" or "cathedral window" pattern in tutorial here or on another site that explains how to make these quilts.

Slit where circle is turned to right side is hidden in 'window frame' fold when quilted.
