Your weekend bag turned out beautifully. You did a nice job on it. I love the fabrics and the fussy cut on the side pocket is very smart. Enjoy your bag.

Beautiful bag and very professional looking. Looks like a "Vera Bradley" bag, and I love those bags. I think I will pass on trying to make one though; a little too difficult for me.

Been wanting to make one of these for the longest time. It's a great bag but the pattern is very wonky. I was forever adjusting pieces to make them fit. It's very, very thick and stiff, plus has covered piping, so it's NOT FUN to sew. My daughter wants me to make one for her friend who is moving away, but I'm not looking forward to it! I will, however, enjoy having this bag for my short weekend trips. It's huge and will easily hold stuff for a weekend. It's serious luggage!

And it is gorgeous! Great job and now indeed enjoy.

I've never heard of her, but will look her up. Thanks so much for the suggestion.

Edited to add: I searched for her patterns and ended up buying the cosmetics travel bag-- the drop down one you can hang in a bathroom. :)

Is this the one you ordered? This would take half my suitcase, but I've always wanted to make one as DH has one that he got from Germany but it is smaller...hmmmm... https://www.byannie.com/shop/product...kit-ant-brass/
