OK, I confess, I didn't think of it, DH did. But I had bought the vintage Singer on ebay, and we had spent several days brainstorming, trying to come up with a solution other than just setting it on top of a table. At first I thought the frame was a goofy idea, but the more I thought about it, the better I liked it.
So I did do the designing and the actual work myself.
