Okay, I am a nitwit... what is fusible polyester fleece? Is this batting?
|
Very nice.

Fleece is denser then batting and you can buy it fusible or plain. I used plain cotton batting for the basket in the picture. For a stiffer basket I'm using Deco bond, a stiff interfacing used to give a crisp finish to fabric projects. I fuse it to the batting not the fabric because I find most fusibles cause the fabric to wrinkle. Use whatever batting you have on hand.

So cute! Thank you for sharing the pattern.

Oooh, thank you for clearing my fog. As always, I learn something new everyday on this board. We are among geniuses (which you are ):) :) :) :)

Bella
I have some of these made up in a Christmas Plaid fabric. I lived in Europe for about 4yrs & they use these to put bread rolls & a selection of different breads in on the table. As Loretta mentioned too I have seen them used to put napkins in also. Thanks for the link I shall bookmark it  Tisha |
