I agree with Bibi.. " . This is such a beautiful quilt. You can leave it as is, or add the scallops as you and others have suggested. It all depends how much work you still want to put into the project." Good luck & let us know what you decide.

OOOH scallops would seem like waves. Too cute for words.

That's something I am considering also. I have similar batiks, but not enough of any one that I used on the shells or inner border. I'm sure something I have would blend ok.

Beautiful quilt!! I bought that pattern to make for my Grandson. He turned one today and I have not started it yet!

I have no advice, but must say the quilt is beautiful.

Scallops would compliment the wave motion you've created diagonally while adding a hint of femininity. I think they would enhance the finished quilt. Love your composition and fabric choices. This is a fun, unique quilt.

I think it would look nice either way...

this sounds good to me! it is beautiful!!

Bind it. Looks perfect to me. If you feel the need for more pink you can use that dark pink from your turtles for the binding ?

I think either way will be pretty. Mostly I just want to congratulate you on making such a cute quilt. And I'm sure the granddaughter will love it.

If it was my quilt and if I was confident of my skills for making scallops (not in my case!), I'd do them. It's awfully cute, and will be fine either way.
