Well - Some peoples' kids!!
Sadly, children aren't being taught common courtesy these days. But you would think an adult would at least have a clue. Anyway, I love it. |
Your fabric is really pretty! I love the quilt!
|
Love the purple quilt. We all have friends and family like that..unfortunately.
|
Non-quilters don't really understand the time and love we put into our quilts. However, she should've at least said thank you.
|
Your quilt is beautiful. I'm sorry that your niece didn't appreciate the thoughtfulness of your gift. I guess it is hard for some people to comprehend the amount of time and money that goes into a project like this. Congrats on completing it and don't give up on quilting! Your doing great!
|
Your quilt it wonderful and shame on her for not letting you know how much she appreciated it. Some people are just that way. Keep quilting and showing us your pictures, I love seeing what everyone is doing and admiring their work.

This is very pretty and it is a shame that the neice did not appreciate it.

Lovely--purple my favorite--keep quilting!

Thank You must not be common anymore. It also happens when you give wedding gifts. This had happen to me then was invited to baby shower and I decided, nope because a thank you never came from the wedding gift. Hate to be like that but I still believe in thank you's. That means more to me than anything.

Two years ago I made a quilt for my new Great Grand-daughter, for Christmas. Never got a thank you from her mom, nor did she even let me know she got it. Finally did get a notice from her MIL on Facebook telling me that they liked it. How is that for a round about way of a half hearted thank you. So no more quilts or gifts for them. I hate to be that way, but a simple thank you from them would have been nice.
