Here's the moda bakeshop link. In my browser the pictures didn't show up, but they are there in the Printer Friendly version...This has me thinking...thanks for sharing your cute quilt! |
I really like what you did - the flags look like a good way to use up small scraps. They could even be made to coordinate with the background. Your quilting stitches really add interest too. I'd definitely buy a lot of raffle tickets!

What a fun quilt! The little flags will be a great texture for little hands to explore.

Very cheery. Hope they raise a lot of funds.

I'm slow, so have mercy :)
In the directions it says to fold the candies in half diagonally (I get that part) and top stitch the sides of the triangle. The way the flags are attached, means the clean edge is under the rick-rack. So does that mean the other edges are raw and just top stitched? Did I miss something? It's absolutely adorable and I'd like to have this in my arsenal of patterns :) Thank you! |
Red...I think you have it right...and one needs to make sure those triangles are tucked into the bias tape so they don't pull out. I can see a little one playing with the soft edges! I have a collection of quarter yard solid cuts that will be perfect for this pattern!
