I love your quilt. I have one like this that I cherish with all my heart as my grandmother and my aunt/godmother made it for me in the early 70's. My other aunt has one too and she calls hers the broads as she put an old blanket inside of hers instead of batting and it is extremely heavy. She made her blocks when my grandma (who passed away in 1987) would go stay with her and my other aunt in Colorado after my grandfather had passed away. When the quilt was given to me it was just the top and I was told I would have to quilt it. Many years later I had a friend who has a LAQM quilt it for me. YOurs is just as beautiful as mine.
