Totally agree. Also, 1 looks like ocean, 2 looks like lagoon; ocean at a distance looks bluer than lagoon up close, so colors are more true to life.

1 and 4 seems more like water to me. 2 and 3 look like a swimming pool water.

They are all fine.

I like 1 and 4.

I like 1, 2, and 4. #3 seems a bit too green.

2 & 4 look like the waters I've seen from the cruise ships I've been on!!!

Depends on what kind of water you are trying to create, all are good, but for different kinds of water. eg lake with sun on it,,, ocean calm. etc

I would use 1 and 2 but you need to use the one you like best
