LOVE a quilt where you can't tell where the block starts and stops and this one is a great example of that. Very pretty - good for you!

This is gorgeous! What a great modern looking quilt, and I like your fabric choices.

Love your quilt!! So pretty - I love the colors you used!!
I really like this pattern, it is a little less traditional. I want to make a quilt for one of my daughters, and I need to find something that isn't so traditional. This just might work!! :-) |
I really like this pattern as it's so versible (?). I've used it with a focus fabric and have also appliqued in the large blocks to make a themed quilt. It's an easy one to put together and looks amazing when you are done!! Your choice of fabrics is very pretty...I like it!

here are two pics of my top in progress. if you use directional prints you just have to watch when you add your strips as to how the block will be turned.
|
Love yours! So much in fact... I have some of the Laurel Burch horse fabric and I'm thinking this is just the quilt to showcase it! Thanks for posting!

What is this pattern called, I love it.
Bib and Candicane, The pattern is called BQ by Maple Island Quilts. Their block is 18", but I reduced mine to 14" |

Beautiful quilt - isn't it fun to change things up a little. I have had the pattern for many years and have yet to make one, you inspire me to do one soon.
I saw one at a quilt show in Milwaukie, Oregon a few weeks ago from the BQ3 pattern. The quilter had made "Veggie Cats" (can't remember the pattern designer) and used them in the big block areas - it was absolutely stunning. She had many other quilts on display that were equally stunning - did beautiful applique work. |
