Your choice of border was the perfect finishing touch! Your quilt really shines now!

Beautiful quilt! The border fabric is perfect for it.

Love the way the quit finished up! I recently did a combination of embroidery and quilting wall hanging. I must have tried a dozen fabrics to sash and border it until my eye caught a piece in my stash I would never have considered and wow it was the one! You never know do you?

It looks great! The border fabric contrasts nicely with the black.

Beautiful! Love the black and white sashing and 9 patch corners. And your "ugly" fabric sets your blocks off perfectly. Great job!

That framed it up very nicely. Good job.

I have been thinking recently about taking some fabrics that I have fallen out of love with, and making them the backing for some projects, rather than going out and buying backing fabric.

Try using a lens cleaning wipe on your camera lens. The placement of the camera 'eye' means we get fingerprints on the lens just picking it up. I clean mine just before a photo session, and ignore it the rest of the time. I do carry lens wipes at all times since I also wear glasses.
