I REALLY like your fabric choices. If you can't find anyone to take it, send it to me!

I never tire of seeing them. I agree, the different fabric selections, give each one a different look altogether. I love them, and have enjoyed making them. I haven't tried using denim yet, but that is on my 'to do' list!
Love yours! Great job! |
Okay, I haven't made one yet, but really want to after Christmas. One thing I wonder about ... when it is finished, do you spray it with water repellant or anything that makes it easier to clean if you accidentally get it rained on or dirty? I've always used a leather bag because of that.

Nice! I like how you did the extra stitching on the inside pockets.

Thank You all so much! I depend on you to tell me if I am getting too "out there" on my fabrics.. LOL! I love color and textiles are a great outlet. I also enjoy landscaping design and gardening.
Each of my siblings are artistic in some way. My older brother works in metals, the younger one works in pen and ink, my older sister works with wood making beautiful furniture and the youngest sister is a painter and computer digitizer. It is very fun to see what each is working on. To answer your question no it isn't hard. It is like sewing clothing. You just have to slow down and read each step before doing it. I change up things a little doing things my way. I wanted the purse to be washable so I made sure to use a fabric that would hold up to that. I also do a stitch down the sides, in the ditch, after the lining was in to hold it in place. It makes it very stable that way. |
very pretty. Never get tired of seeing anything posted some. Like a few others I Hope to after Christmas.
Everyone have a blessedand safe Christmas! |
