Love these! I agree that a black button would look great!

Sharonsews 07-27-2011 11:45 AM

They are both really cute. I love the watermelon fabric.

skydiver70 07-27-2011 11:46 AM

Both are very cute. Can't seem to pick which I like best, as you did a great job on both. A watermellon pin or button would be so cute on them.

Lady Jane 07-27-2011 11:51 AM

I LOVE this, and so wouls my cousin.

annthreecats 07-27-2011 11:59 AM

Those are really, really cute.

kuntryquilter 07-27-2011 12:43 PM

duplicate message.

kuntryquilter 07-27-2011 12:43 PM

Yep, like the button. I found the watermelon seed print, but haven't found the green yet.

Ann Marie O 07-27-2011 12:48 PM

Check with Equilter.com - I just bought some from them. It is a little different green in color (not as yellow-green) but still looks like watermelon rind.

JuneBillie 07-27-2011 01:50 PM

They are so pretty. Makes me want to go out and buy a watermelon. Black button would be pretty.

Playing off this reply...........

Could you fashion a little seed shaped button from some black fabric and a few layers of fusible interfacing?

shemace2901 07-27-2011 02:51 PM

love the flap you added

Tweety2911 07-27-2011 05:29 PM

Those turned out so cute. I think a black button would look great.

It was really easy - just sew it on the same time as the handle and use reinforcement behind the magnetic snap if you use that, so it doesn't pull through fabric.

Tadpole 07-27-2011 08:19 PM

Love both but I think I would put a covered button of the green on it. JMO

Nancy O. 07-28-2011 06:22 AM

I love them both. The black button would look great.

margie77072 07-28-2011 12:08 PM

Grandma Cindy 07-29-2011 05:30 AM

I like the solid flap but also like the rine handles, both are so cute...

ging10ging 08-02-2011 06:14 PM

Black or green button to match the bottom. Cute bag. Sue

gmavis 08-05-2011 05:30 AM

Very good looking. I like the black button idea, would just finish it off. Thanks for sharing.

iwillquilt 08-05-2011 05:37 AM

How about a BEE pin. Watermellon always attract happy little bees. :) Love your purses.
