I did tube quilting triangles for all of it and just pieced together what I thought looked pretty. The hard part was matching up the squares - I didn't stack my cuts and then I knocked some off the table so it was like working a jigsaw puzzle.....the border I kind of made up because I was tired and didn't know what else to do. diane |
That is so moving. My mother had breast cancer while I was pregnant with our son.
I realised the other day that I have not made anything for her, you have inspired me. And, luckily, her eyesight is going, so she can't see the mistakes I make. Mum was an invisible mender and a dressmaker. |
A labor of love for sure. What a comfort this will be. They say chocolate is good for the soul. You did a fantastic job.

That is beautiful. You are a good friend.

Very nice :-P

your friend will be wrapped in your hugs when she uses this quilt - she surely will treasure it.

Beautiful, they are going to love it :D:D:D

Every time your friend uses the quilt, she will feel wrapped both literally and figuratively in the warmth of your love. You have a good heart.

Hi I really like your quilt - I need to make a charity quilt for the Relay for Life in June - do you have a PDF or a document for this pattern? I check the above link and do not really see this pattern there. (I am new to quilting so I need instructions on how to do everything) Thanks NormaBeth |
