Oh yes, quilting just makes the quilts butterflies pop out. Very pretty.

I also found 20 but sadly the squares are not all cut the same. I am trying to figure out what to do with them. I may bring them to a consignment store and sell them.

I was just at an estate sale and found 25 hand appliqued butterflies from the 30's; these butterflies wings are the same color(each different) with co-ordinating solid bodies; with black blanket stitch all around them ! What a find especially for $20 ! I'm thinking I will sash them with thirties yellow. I am so excited to finish my current project and move on to the butterflies. Are your butterflies new - they are beautiful.
