I did the simular pin cushions of items I found at Goodwill. One was an old antique sugar bowl that was missing the lid, 2 others were crystal dishes which were shallow 1 1/2 inches high, one square and the other round which made perfect pin cushions. I used calico prints for the cushions. Yours are beautiful too.

Great job. Love the teapot.

What a neat idea. Love them. What do you fill the pin cushions with?
|
Very addicting!

How great. Yes we do use them in our world of quilting.
I think I should try to make one as I have an old ratty one of many years ago. I'm always to busy to finish a project.. |
Very pretty.

I love them, but would be afraid of knocking the tall vase over! The one with the lid is the BOMB...I must find a dish to do this..as you can keep extra pin the dish, or in the living room, it can hold thread, thimble, etc!

Oh those are so cute. Looks like fun!

 How very clever. The small one in the first picture reminds me of a hot air balloon. Thanks for sharing. BrendaK

How beautiful and fun at the same time. I would love to have one of those sitting in my quilting room for use. Thanks for sharing your creative ideas.
