Boy what a great looking quilt. For those of us who agonize endlessly about color, value and what color touches what color it's an inspiration! Who knew nary a single color repeat resulted in such happy quilting? Thanks a lot for sharing. It has helped me think of color in a better and different way.

The pattern looks like a nine patch to me and reminds of, Sunsine and Windmills or The Twister, that I did some time ago. You have to do it on a design board so you can match the next fabric. I love the effect, maybe I'll do one with my scraps.

do you plan this out on graph paper or just follow a pattern? I really like it, and I probably have enough fabric in my stash to do one!
